In de nasleep van de lezingenreeks GREETINGS FROM in 2013 en 2014, stelt Recyclart in 2015 opnieuw twee nieuwe cycli van architectuurlezingen voor.
INTERCONTINENTAL zal het woord geven aan architecten, curatoren, stedenbouwkundigen,… die werken of onderzoek doen op zeer verschillende plaatsen en omstandigheden, geografisch ver van elkaar of met grote tegenstellingen.
Wat niet aan bod komt, is het fenomeen van internationalisatie van (grote) arcihtectenbureaus die dankzij hun nationale of regionale bekendheid projecten in de vier hoeken van de wereld kunnen realiseren. Onze focus zal liggen op die bureaus die vanaf de start, uit eigen wil, wegens een persoonlijk verhaal, overtuiging … gelijktijdig projecten en gedachten ontwikkelen binnen zeer verschillende geografische contexten.
In elke lezing zullen projecten voorgesteld worden die in deze context  gerealiseerd werden.

FAR (frohn&rojas) is a networked architectural design and research practice located in Berlin, Santiago de Chile and Los Angeles. With its distributed setup the office seeks to appropriate corporate models of global presence as its own effective means of production by taking these models as a means to establish a more diversified type of architectural production where both the inherent contradictions between geographies, as well as the stretching of disciplinary boundaries, will let formerly 'hidden' links thrive.

Marc Frohn is co-founder and design director of FAR frohn&rojas. He studied architecture at RWTH Aachen University, Universitá Federico II in Naples, Italy, University of Houston, USA and Rice University, Houston, USA. He pursued his graduate studies in the US as a Fulbright scholar. Parallel to his work as a practicing architect Frohn has taught both in Europe and the United States, at RWTH Aachen University, SCI-Arc in Los Angeles and the Royal College of Art in London. Since 2014 he is head of the chair for architectural space and design at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie.
