Tijdens verschillende bezoeken aan de werkplaatsen begin 2023 konden we een aantal stalen van niet-teruggewonnen afvalstoffen meenemen om een reeks objecten te testen en te prototypen. De NMBS heeft opdracht gegeven voor twee series van de volgende objecten: een bank gemaakt van frictiestrips van stroomafnemers, boekensteunen gemaakt van remblokken, tafels en sokkels gemaakt van oude stationsklokken, een lamp gemaakt van een koplamp van een locomotief en een andere lamp gemaakt van een signaallantaarn. In 2025 werd de Iconique stoel in grotere aantallen geproduceerd en te koop aangeboden op de website van Rotor.
