Grouper is het soloproject van Liz Harris uit Portland, Oregon. Sinds 2005 bracht ze een resem LPs, CDR’s en cassettes uit op platenmaatschappijen als Type, Room40 en haar eigen Yellow Electric. The Wire publiceerde in december vorig jaar een intimistisch en verhelderend interview en portret van deze fascinerende dame en vergeleek haar muziek met de psychedelische plattelandsdreunen van Flying Saucer Attack. Live optredens van Grouper zijn zeldzame belevenissen en perfect voor ons station. Enig concert in België!
