De bonte ploeg van TV Marol trok er weer op uit, op zoek naar buurtbewoners, handelaars en spraakwaters die bekend zijn van het Vossenplein tot aan de frituur van Kapellekerk. Op een televisiepodium smeren zangers hun keel, weiden vertellers eindeloos uit en laat de Worstelaar van de Marollen zijn spierballen rollen, terwijl de Marolse jongensgroep Les Stocks in de coulissen de laatste emmer met zenuwbraaksel vult. De onvoorspelbare wendingen worden beroepshalve aan elkaar gesmeed door het ondertussen haast onbetaalbaar geworden presentatieduo Pey en Mey, met thuisadres in de Spiegelstraat. Thema: uitdagingen!
