Tussen electrobeats, synthesizers en samples, brengt Ultramoderne rauwe, melancholische, offbeat teksten vol zelfspot over hun generatie. Citron Sucré is even duister als heldere electroclash, even 'zuur' als 'zoet'. De beats zijn bouncy en dansbaar, gemodificeerde synths vermengen zich met traditionele percussie. **[ULTRAMODERNE](https://www.instagram.com/ultramoderne_music_group%20)** Ultramoderne is een Franstalig electroclashduo uit Blois (41). Aline (zang) en Crush (machines) komen uit de anarcho-punk scene, waar ze tussen 2005 en 2015 10 jaar doorbrachten met hun duo Pogomarto, en 300 optredens deden in underground venues door heel Europa. -Ze keren terug in 2018 met Ultramoderne! Dit nieuwe project, een mix van electrobeats, synthesizers en samples, met teksten die rauw, melancholisch, offbeat en zelfspot zijn over hun generatie, krijgt live zijn volle dimensie. Aline en Crush hebben hun voorliefde voor punk-energieke performancekunst, begeleid door videoprojecties, behouden. [**CITRON SUCRÉ** ](https://www.instagram.com/citronsucresound) Citron Sucré is even duistere als heldere electroclash, even 'zuur' als 'zoet'. Ze is zangeres en muzikant en brengt fluorescerende electropunk die zowel woedend als breekbaar is. Ze zingt in verschillende talen vanuit haar Siberische, Russische en Oekraïense roots. De beats zijn springerig en dansbaar: technokicks, aanzuigende snares en gemodificeerde synths vermengen zich bijvoorbeeld met traditionele percussie in 'La soif d'amour', dat je in een hypnotiserende trance brengt in een ode aan gevoelens met een Oosters accent. Op andere momenten smelten dissonante synths samen met ruisgeluiden en shakers uit een drummachine, waardoor je in een synthpunkspiraal terechtkomt waarin je ontgoochelde jongeren hoort schreeuwen.
