Transforming Justice is een eendagsfestival dat op zoek naar een nieuwe benadering van rechtvaardigheid. We komen samen om een toekomst te verbeelden voorbij geweldcycli en naar collectieve verantwoordelijkheid. (NL) \_\_\_ ***Transformatieve rechtvaardigheid?*** *Transformatieve rechtspraktijken komen voort uit een dubbele vaststelling: enerzijds kunnen we niet allemaal rekenen op gelijke bescherming door het rechtssysteem en anderzijds vermindert dit systeem het maatschappelijk geweld onvoldoende en houdt het systemische ongelijkheden in stand. Transformatieve rechtvaardigheid komt voort uit activistische praktijken, binnen groepen die sociaal en juridisch gemarginaliseerd zijn (door hun positionering op het kruispunt van ongelijke sociale relaties gelinkt aan geslacht, etnische afkomst, seksuele geaardheid, sociale klasse, handicap, gebrek aan legale status, etc.) en ondersteunt een bevraging van onze relatie tot wetten en regelgeving.
