Thomas Truax is een bizarre telg uit de Newyorkse antifolk-scene. Hij is even berucht voor zijn energie op podium als voor zijn verzameling zelfgemaakte instrumenten waarmee hij een donker, beklijvend klankbeeld oproept. Om er een paar te citeren: The Hornicator (bassriff-loops met grammofoonhoorn), Sister Spinster (gemotoriseerde mechanische drummachine), Mother Superior etc. Maar deze bard is vooral een eigenzinnige zanger-liedjesschrijver met liederen over prostituees en klonen. Hij toerde o.a. met de Dresden Dolls, deelde het podium met Foetus en stond zowel op Glastonbury als op Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Gudrun Gut is een iconische Berlijnse figuur, die met verve bijna 30 jaar muziekgeschiedenis mee bepaald heeft, van postpunk over techno tot indietronics. Deze diva was stichtend lid van bands als Einstürzende Neubauten, Malaria!, Mania D. en Matador. Ze is de spil van gesproken woord- en multimedia-projecten, ze leidt de ‘Oceanclub Radio Show’ (Radio Eins) met Thomas Fehlmann, stichtte het label Monika Enterprise en slaat met het Oceanclub team de brug naar clubs en festivals. In oktober 2012 bracht ze haar laatste cd ‘WIldlife’ uit, een frisse en sterke opname.
