Dit publieke moment komt voort uit hun onderzoek als onderdeel van de Cripping The City-residentie bij Recyclart, waar ze alternatieve vormen van collectieve actie verkennen en hoe publieke onvrede wordt georganiseerd rond toegang, onderlinge afhankelijkheid en zorg. **We ontmoeten elkaar om 17:00 uur bij de ingang van het Centraal Station, nabij het Carrefour de l’Europe.** Er zullen ook zitplaatsen worden voorzien voor degenen die dat misschien nuttig vinden. \_\_\_\_\_ It has been over 200 days since the Central Station elevator has been out of service, making one of Belgium’s key transport hubs inaccessible for many disabled people. ***But where’s the public outrage?*** On October 6th, The Wheelies will stage a manifestation at Central Station where anger takes the form of an ironic, performative celebration - come through and show your solidarity. This public moment emerges from their research as part of the *Cripping The City* residency at Recyclart, where they explore alternative forms of collective action and how public dissent is organized around access, interdependence and care. **We meet at 17:00h by entrance of the Central Station, near the Carrefour de l’Europe.** There will also be some seating provided for those who might find it helpful.
