Whose experiences are considered when we design new constructions or intervene in historic sites? And how can architects move beyond checkboxes and regulations to create spaces that are genuinely inclusive?** As part of STADPLURAAL, this panel brings together Enka Blanchard and Negin Eisazadeh to interrogate accessibility across new architecture and architectural heritage. This panel will be moderated by Josse Cornette. Grounded in lived experience and hands-on design practices, as well as extensive empirical datasets, the panel moves beyond compliance to explore accessibility as a visible, critical, and creative force in both contemporary buildings and existing structures. **(NL) Welke ervaringen worden in rekening gebracht wanneer we nieuwe constructies ontwerpen of ingrijpen in historische sites? En hoe kunnen architecten verder gaan dan checklists en regelgeving om ruimtes te creëren die echt inclusief zijn?** In het kader van **STADPLURAAL** brengt deze paneldiscussie Enka Blanchard en Negin Eisazadeh samen om toegankelijkheid te bevragen, zowel in hedendaagse architectuur als in erfgoed. Vertrekkend vanuit lived experience, praktijkgerichte ontwerpbenaderingen en uitgebreide empirische datasets, gaat het gesprek verder dan louter naleving en onderzoekt het toegankelijkheid als een zichtbare, kritische en creatieve kracht in zowel hedendaagse gebouwen als bestaande structuren. Moderatie door Josse (Josefien) Cornette. **Enka Blanchard (hen/hun)** is transdisciplinair onderzoeker bij het CNRS aan LAMSADE (Université Paris Dauphine PSL) en geassocieerd onderzoeker bij het CNRS Centre Internet et Société. Hun oorspronkelijke expertise lag in de menselijke aspecten van veiligheid (met name stemtechnologieën), met talrijke publicaties over het ontwerpen van veilige en toegankelijke stemsystemen. Meer recent heeft hen hun onderzoek uitgebreid naar de geografieën van handicap en de verschillen in ruimtelijke ervaringen van personen met een handicap. **Negin Eisazadeh (zij/haar)** is ingenieur-architect (Universiteit van Teheran) en architectuurhistoricus (Shahid Beheshti Universiteit). Ze behaalde ook advanced master’s in Conservation of Monuments and Sites (RLICC, KU Leuven) en Digital Humanities (KU Leuven). In september 2025 verdedigde ze haar doctoraat (ULiège en KU Leuven), waarin ze onderzocht hoe diverse erfgoedervaringen kunnen bijdragen aan meer inclusieve benaderingen van erfgoedzorg. **Josse (Josefien) Cornette (hen/hun)**, geboren in 1994 in België, studeerde beeldende kunsten (LUCA School of Arts, Gent), kunstgeschiedenis en gender- en diversiteitsstudies (UGent). Hen identificeert zich als een disabled maker. Geboren met een zeldzame aangeboren aandoening, fibulaire hemimelie, ontwikkelt hen een hybride praktijk die sterk verankerd is in artistiek onderzoek. Hen werkt vaak binnen critical disability studies, critical trauma studies, en crip- en queer theory. ***STADPLURAAL is een format voor multidisciplinaire uitwisseling rond het recht op de stad en collectieve praktijken in stedenbouw, architectuur en ruimtelijk ontwerp.
