Memo is een live producer en speelt on stage met synths, effecten en samples. Hij mixt electronica met cumbia en invloeden van Kraftwerk, Front 242, 80’s synth pop etc. Enkele jaren geleden was hij al eens bij ons met zijn band Zorroz, maar deze keer komt hij met zijn orkest en extra visuals om onze lichamen in een danskronkel toveren. **Sonido Gallo Negro** Sonido Gallo Negro is een negenkoppig combo uit Mexico City. Met Farfisa orgel, theremin en een pak percussie verenigen ze cumbia sonidera, huayno, boogaloo en chicha met psychedelica en spaghettiwesternsoundtracks, garagerock en sixties surf. Het collectief tekende in 2011 als eerste niet-Afrikaanse band bij Glitterbeat Records (Bombino, Tamikrest, …) en heeft ondertussen twee prachtige albums uit. Exotisch, psychedelisch, maar vooral niet te missen. De zwarte haan zal kraaien! Spooky & hot!
