Ter herinnering : we organiseerden wandelingen en bezoeken bij wijkbewoners thuis en de deelnemers kregen een mooie portretfoto aangeboden van onze huisfotograaf Marcel. Deze avond overhandigen we de gehandtekende foto’s en vertonen we de reeks op groot scherm. De gelegenheid om onze en uw buren terug te zien en wat na te praten bij een glaasje en borrelnootjes… Alvorens de wereld vergaat, zoals de Azteken voorspelden, tonen we de film van Flore Bleiberg en Esteban Miraflores over wijkbewoner Jan. Hij is operazanger, schilder en verdediger van slachtoffers van medische fouten, maar tevens vaste klant op de vlooienmarkt en bij tijd en stond ook mimespeler. Een warm en zacht portret van een man die zich belangeloos inzet voor de wijk en die luid en krachtig roept dat armoede en cultuur onlosmakelijk met elkaar verbonden zijn. Op ’t einde van de avond zullen we zien of onze voorspellingen al dan niet zijn uitgekomen.
