Een orkestratie die bijwijlen doet denken aan Virgin Beaut van Ornette Coleman. Met: Michel Debrulle (drums, percussion) /Adrien Sézuba Rukira (voice) / Véronique Laurent (tuba) / Clément Dechambre (alto sax, bass clarinet) / Anne Gennen (alt, bariton sax, voice) Het Brusselse **BooDooRoo** combineert een electrische oud, recht uit de Perzische voorsteden, met toetsen die zweven tussen Ethiopië en Scandinavische pop, een ritmesectie met eindeloze grooves en een warme, schorre stem die nu eens zingt dan weer vertelt over de ontreddering van een nieuw verworven vrijheid… Het geheel heeft een angstige Afrikaanse ziel, klinkt als blues rock onder hoogspanning, puttend uit zowel de Algerijnse chaabicultuur als Jimi Hendrix of Allen Ginsberg. Met: Jawhar Basti (TN/BE - zang, compositie en teksten) / Mathieu Kouz Dupont (BE - electrische oud en zang) / Sofyann Ben Youssef (TN/BE - arrangementen, toetsen, electronica en zang) / Cyrille de Haes (BE -
