Op podium controleert, manipuleert en bespeelt Verstockt elektronische instrumenten en apparatuur. Via computergestuurde beelden worden gelijktijdig virtuele ruimtes geprojecteerd voor een totale auditief-ruimtelijke ervaring. Serge Verstockt studeerde muziektheorie, klarinet en elektronische muziek aan het Antwerpse Conservatorium. In 1988 richtte hij het ensemble Champ d'Action op, bekend voor het experiment met nieuwe technologie, live elektronica en interactieve computertoepassingen. Sindsdien blijft Verstockt zijn werkveld en interessesfeer uitbreiden, o.a. met de integratie van stem- en beeldmanipulatie en samenwerkingen met theatermakers als Josse De Pauw en Eric Joris (CREW).
