Ik zie Brussel van bovenaf, mooi uitzicht. Ik woon een ballet van kraanvogels bij. Ik zie sporen van vliegtuigen die de lucht in stukken scheuren. Ik geniet van zonsondergangen en zonsopkomsten, de volle maan is er jaloers op... Een gevoel van vrijheid, vrede en rust is mij binnengedrongen. Ik voel me goed. Spontaan nam ik mijn telefoon. Klik! Ik maakte mijn eerste foto. Zonder bril. En ja, ik ben bijziend! Ik heb nooit eerder foto's gemaakt, zelfs niet toen ik tentoonstellingen ging bekijken. De camera genageld op de neus, dat irriteerde me altijd. Sindsdien ben ik hier aangekomen en presenteer een deel van mezelf.
