Pauline Caplet dringt binnen in een ijle wereld zonder begin of einde, zonder trucage, met respect, voorzichtig om nergens in de weg te staan. Tussen weg zijn en wachten, een plek waar de tijd gestaag herinneringen tot zich neemt. Vertrouwde gezichten en beelden om de leegte te vullen. Een portret van Suzanne (89), die vlakbij haar woont in kamer n°2017, waarvan ze de deur bijna nooit uitgaat.
