Deze baritonsaxofonist uit Brooklyn zet heldere saxlijnen uit terwijl hij met zijn voeten analoge synthesizers manipuleert (pedipuleert?). De melodielijnen dragen soms echos met zich mee van vergeten volksstemmen uit de Appalachen of zwermen uit naar woeste multiphonics tot meditatieve hypnotische lijnen met circular breathing. Elk element is live: geen overdubs geen loops. What you hear is what you get. Deze muziek blijft dus zeer spannend en haalt zijn unieke kracht mede uit het moment, de context en u, hoogachtend publiek. Hoogtepunten op zijn stevig palmares: The Stone in New York, Constellation in Chicago, Suoni Per il Popolo festival in Montreal en Creative Music Guild Improvisors Summit in Portland.
