Momenteel zijn er al grote infrastructuurwerken bezig om dit mogelijk te maken. Want het waarmaken van de ambities vergt wel het ontdubbelen van diverse spoorlijnen. Over dit GEN werd in samenspraak tussen Waalse, Vlaamse en Brusselse milieuorganisaties een rapport gemaakt. Wij nodigen twee van de bij dit rapport betrokken deskundigen uit (Erik Grietens (BBL) & Jeroen Verhoeven (BRAL) om het GEN vanuit milieustandpunt te evalueren.
