Deze pionier van de experimentele en psychedelische banjo heeft het instrument herschapen tot een drum annex effectpedaalgestuurd eenmansorkest met de naam [**Tall Tall Trees**](http://talltalltrees.com/). Hij slaat, strijkt en zalft het instrument om zichzelf op zijn songs te begeleiden. Muzikaal en visueel fascinerend. De banjo heruitgevonden. “Bearded man sings songs, violates banjo” – CMJ En een tweede snaarinstrument zoals je het nog maar zelden hoorde: de ukulele! **Danilo Vignola** beheerst de vier snaren als geen ander: hij is dan ook bekroond geweest met titel beste elektrische ukulelespeler ter wereld. Stilistisch kan hij zowat alles aan: traditionele muziek, tarantella, experimentele improv, heavy metal ukulele, blues etc etc. Er bestaat een woord voor: virtuoos. Het Italiaanse duo grasduint muzikaal in de hele mediterrane regio en rijgt tarantella, flamenco, Arabische modale muziek aan elkaar met psychedelica en verhakkelde ritmes van Gio Didonna op o.a. cajon en drums. Een even verrassende als avontuurlijke reis.
