Na verloop van de jaren werden deze plekken verlaten, buiten dienst gesteld, ontmanteld, ontvlucht… tot zover dat er geen spoor meer overbleef van hun bestaan behalve in herinneringen van enkelingen. Het project [***Halte***](http://www.congreshaltecongres.be/) wil deze krantenwinkel een nieuw leven geven, in de geest van de deze herinneringen, een verbeelding van het station van weleer. Deze eens zo levendige plaatsen van ontmoeting in het station Congres zullen opnieuw opgeroepen worden door installaties en gedurende tien dagen zal een dagblad verdeeld worden, in en voor dit station. Gedaan met de Metro, hou Halte! *Halte* is een project in coproductie met het onderzoekslaboratorium ***hortence*** en de **architectuurfaculteit van de ULB**, in samenwerking met **Loraine Furter**, **Elsa Maury, Anne-Laure Iger** en ***orthodoxe***.
