Op naar Athene! De Griekse hoofdstad, de bakermat van de beschaving is een complexe stad, spannend en tegelijk behoorlijk op de proef gesteld, vooral sinds het begin van de nieuwe eeuw. Geschiedenis en verhalen, opstand, legitieme woede, inventiviteit en plantrekkerij, erfgoed met een blik naar de toekomst, allemaal weerspiegeld in de energie van de lokale scene. Onze gast deze maand is een architect, maar niet alleen dat! Het werk van Aristide Antonas omvat filosofie, kunst, literatuur en architectuur. Hij heeft romans, theaterteksten en essays gepubliceerd met passages in tal van biënnales en tentoonstellingen over de hele wereld, waaronder Venetië, Sao Paulo, New York en Istanbul. Hij had solotentoonstellingen in het Zwitserse Architectuur Museum in Basel en het Instituut voor Architectuur van Vorarlberg, Oostenrijk. Hij heeft vele prijzen veroverd, waaronder een nominatie voor de Mies van der Rohe Award 2009 met zijn House Amfitheater.
