Na de openingsconcerten van **Thomas Köner** (Touch, Mille Plateaux, Porter Ricks) en **Mohn** (Wolfgang Voigt & Jörg Burger – Mike Ink, Gas, The Modernist, Kompakt) in de Brigittinenkapel (van 20 tot 23u), volgt een eclectische clubnacht in de zaal van Recyclart. Een DJ-set van **Barnt**, één van de mensen achter het succesvolle Magazine-label, opent de avond. Barnt is zo'n beetje het nieuwe wonderkind van de hedendaagse clubscène. Zijn open stijl, gericht op experiment en emotie, zorgt ervoor dat hij moeiteloos binnen veel verschillende muziekscènes als een groot talent wordt onthaald. **Groupshow**, het project van electronica-producers Jan Jelinek (Farben), Andrew Pekler en Hanno Leichtmann, voor de gelegenheid aangevuld met legendarisch Can-lid **Damo Suzuki**, speelt live en doet dat op zijn eigen, onnavolgbare, geïmproviseerde wijze. Deze drie heren herdefiniëren nu al jaren ieder afzonderlijk waar elektronische muziek kan voor staan. Groupshow is dan nog eens meer dan de som van zijn delen. Ook live en op zijn minst even toonaangevend is het project **KM/MM** (TTT, Workshop, Mikrodisko) van Kassem Mosse en Mix-Mup. Analoog geïmproviseerde house van de bovenste plank die het genre nieuw leven inblaast. Kassem Mosse zelf is op korte tijd uitgegroeid tot één van de belangrijkste houseproducers van vandaag. Afsluiten doet de legendarische **Anthony Shakir** (Frictional, Rush Hour, 7th City). Hij is zo'n beetje de miskende held van de Detroit technoscène. Als producer of technicus was hij betrokken bij een hele vloot aan essentiële platen uit het genre en zijn eigen producties hebben evengoed dezelfde status bereikt. Hij is ook lid van het legendarische Urban Tribe, met Carl Craig, Kenny Dixon Jr. en Sharard ingram. Shake is ruimdenkender dan de meeste hedendaagse club-DJ’s en geeft niet om conventies.
