Purrses biedt artistieke accenten van rock en pop, samengevoegd met een cynisch naïeve schrijfstijl. De muziek van Baby Fire onderscheidt zich door een rauw geluid, melodieën op slechts één snaar en een vurige stem, belichaamde een doe-het-zelfethiek. Eli Desnot-Marsan onderscheidt zich door haar verkenning van de ruimte en het creëren van beeldhouwwerken, waarbij ze op een delicate manier intimiteit en kwetsbaarheid vastlegt in haar werken. In this gray workplace the band lives its own life. Frankie consists of stubborn individuals who try to work together from time to time, trying to steer the ship in the right direction without a captain. De snaren klinken ruw, de melodieën indringend, de stem is vol vuur en fascinerend. De trio heeft een reputatie opgebouwd op basis van compromisloze en intense liveshows en hun D.I.Y. ethiek. \+ [**ELI DESNOT-MARSAN** ](https://www.instagram.com/eli.desnotmarsan/) Ik haal mijn inspiratiebronnen uit mijn omgeving, mijn dagelijkse leven, mijn nauwe kringen. Naarmate ik vorder in mijn projecten, realiseer ik me dat datgene wat me raakt, de mensen of elementen zijn die onzichtbaar zijn gemaakt. Ik kies ervoor om ze te vertegenwoordigen of hun afwezigheid te tonen. Mijn proces roept onvermijdelijk culturele, politieke of sociale vragen op die verband houden met het gekozen onderwerp. Voorbij het belichten van deze mensen of elementen, probeer ik een band van intimiteit te creëren met zowel hen als het publiek. Mijn werk ontstaat tijdens fotografische ontmoetingen, die vaak uitmonden in workshops waarin ik schilderijen en tekeningen maak, en in geschreven sporen die soms de vorm aannemen van gebeurtenissen. In Brussel heb ik meer dan een jaar lang mijn dagelijkse leven vastgelegd, portretten van mijn naasten en onze levensmomenten binnen mijn inclusieve lgbtqia+ en feministische gemeenschap. Ik werk ook aan zelfportretten om mijn eigen queer identiteit in scène te zetten, waarbij ik mijn lichaam vertegenwoordig buiten een door mannen gecentreerd perspectief. Door middel van installaties zet ik mezelf in scène te midden van mijn vrienden.
