Romy hijgt, haar roze legging doorweekt. Met de blik strak gericht op de bergtoppen probeert ze haar hoogtevrees onder controle te houden. Haar enige overlevingskans: ZINGEN! *Heilige Wandeling* vertrekt vanuit een gelijknamig kortverhaal, geschreven door Romy Alizée in 2023 voor het feministische kunsttijdschrift *Censored*. Na hun samenwerking aan de muzikale documentaire *C(h)oeur de sex worker*(L’Expérience, France Culture 2024), werken Romy en de muzikant Plus petit que trois opnieuw samen. Samen bedachten ze de enscenering en muziek van de tekst, in hun zoektocht naar een hybride werk dat balanceert tussen performance en musical. Nog maar net uit het ei en in volle existentiële crisis, begint ze plots en bijna obsessief liedjes te schrijven, zonder echt te weten hoe muziek te spelen. Haar concert-conferenties laten haar toe verhalen te vertellen via muzikale experimenten en projecties van tekeningen. Ze combineert zo de “world” (de buitenwereld van ideeën en woorden) met de “home” (de innerlijke wereld, denkbeeldige landschappen, sensaties…). Estelle Saignes verkent tijdelijke en begrensde aquatische omgevingen, het resultaat van een samenwerking tussen landschap en mensheid die vaak eenzijdig lijkt. Constant trad ook op in het kader van het Cocholab in Armenië.
