Open din > zat, 14:00 > 19:00 Vitrine n°13 Ursulinenstraat 13 **HEAVY MERRY FINLAND** *Beeldende kunst* **+ Rialto Bar & Bank** 19:00 > 23:00 Vitrine n°17 Ursulinenstraat 17 **MZANSI (2005, 80 min, Bart Van Dijck)** *Film* ‘Mzansi’ is Zulu voor het ‘zuiden’ en bij uitbreiding Zuid-Afrika. 'Mzansi' is geen klassieke documentaire maar eerder een filmisch verslag van een zwerfreis door dit prachtige maar schizofrene land. Samen met collega-ontdekkingsreiziger Patrik Oosterlynck bracht Antwerpenaar Bart Van Dijck de heersende gevoelens van euforie, wanhoop, angst en hoop in beeld. De trip gaat langs de verschillende wijken en townships van ‘Gangsters Paradise’ Johannesburg om te eindigen in de oude culturele smeltkroes van Kaapstad aan de voet van de mysterieuze Tafelberg. Subculturen als kwaito, hip hop, pantsula, black metal, auto tuning, townshipgolf en bruingebronsde surfers schetsen een verrassend beeld van Zuid-Afrika, 10 jaar na de afschaffing van apartheid. 22:00 > 23:30 buiten **CHAOS OF THE HAUNTED SPIRE FEAT. SICK BOY & MIRKO BANOVIC (BE – live)** *Muziek* Het intense muzikale huwelijk tussen Teun en Andrew houdt al een paar jaar stand en staat voor woelig muzikaal vaarwater waarin ze hun muzikale bootjes met even plezier te water laten als torpederen. Sickboy gooit hier en daar wat twijfelachtige reddingsboeien uit waar breakcore en italo discoliefhebbers zich kunnen aan vastklampen. De paal boven water moet van de baspartij van Mirko Banovic (o.a. Arno Hintjes) komen. Wat hebben we gedaan? Als dat maar goed afloopt.
