Hoewel hij aanvankelijk uit de technoscene kwam, bekeert hij zich na het horen van ‘Wormhole’ van Ed Rush & Optical tot de drum ‘n bass. **The Sect** Gesticht in Londen door Blade en Virtua en groot geworden met The Prodigy en Londense piratenzenders, verzeilen beiden gauw in drum ’n bass. Ze brengen hun eerste release als ‘The Sect’ in 2003 maar de faam volgt pas met hun EP ‘Offkey’. Van dan af brengen ze materiaal uit op labels als Position Chrome, Freak, Subsistenz of hun eigen label ‘The Sect Music’.
