Met: Johanna Baschke, Soetkin De Backer, Alina Cristea, Sara Tremblay. **JOHANNA BASCHKE:** Een baarmoeder hebbende en opgroeiende als cis-vrouw heeft Johanna Baschke geleerd wat vrouwen moeten doen, hoe ze zich moeten gedragen, eruit moeten zien en voelen. Haar werk belicht het innerlijke conflict tussen onzekerheid en controle, tussen heteronomie en zelfbeschikking, tussen onderdanigheid en dominantie, tussen verbergen en laten zien. Er wordt gekeken naar de uitdagingen waarmee men geconfronteerd wordt wanneer men gendernormen probeert te deconstrueren en hoe deze tegelijkertijd kunnen worden aangescherpt en benadrukt. **SARA TREMBLAY:** In het vagevuur tussen het construeren en deconstrueren van beelden worden ze ontleed, hun skelet, lagen en oppervlak worden blootgelegd, geobserveerd en bestudeerd. Sara’s foto's verlaten de muur om de ruimte in te nemen, vermenigvuldigen in standpunt en spelen met percepties. **SOETKIN DE BACKER:** In haar werk zoekt Soetkin naar een raakpunt tussen het reële en het on(der)bewuste. Al zoekend naar een spanning probeert ze een kader te creëren waarbij de kijker zou kunnen toetreden tot een mentale wereld. De beelden zijn mise en scènes met personages, maar ook objecten die reeds in de ruimte aanwezig zijn of die ze toevoegt. De handelingen die de personages uitvoeren, zijn voornamelijk passief. Het is niet meteen duidelijk wat ze precies doen. De objecten, vaak uit hun oorspronkelijke functie gehaald, zijn leeg zonder het menselijk contact, maar tasten toch associaties af. **ALINA CRISTEA:** Door verhalen te gebruiken om situaties en gebeurtenissen te hertekenen die gefilterd worden door haar individuele en specifieke standpunten, wil Alina Cristea een verhaal vertellen over Boekarest zoals zij het ziet. Te zien bij Recyclart is een stuk van de film waarmee ze in 2017 begon en afstudeerde aan de LUCA School of Arts in 2017, en wat nu haar lopende doctoraatsonderzoek is geworden.
