Voor de eerste keer in Europa geeft hij met zijn groep Ronda Bogotá zijn enige concert op Belgische bodem in Recyclart! Deze zanger, componist en befaamd accordeonist heeft 30 jaar carrière achter de rug en een twintigtal platen op zijn conto. Als pionier van het experiment met tropische geluiden, vermengt hij Colombiaanse cumbia met allerlei andere volkse en stedelijke muziekstijlen, van Mexicaanse Norteña en Sonidera tot Ska, Reggae, Rap en Hip Hop. Zijn plaat 'Barrio Bravo' werd hiervoor in 2002 genomineerd voor twee Latin Grammy Awards : 'Best Contemporary Tropical Album' en 'Best New Artist'. Hiervoor werkte hij samen met o.a. Toy Selecta en Blanquito Man wat leidde tot de platinumhit 'Cumbia sobre el Rio', ook bekend van de film 'Babel' van Alejandro González Inárritu. Absoluut niet te missen!
