Omwille van haar geheel eigen artistiek universum, haar gedrevenheid en betrokkenheid bij deze stad en haar wil om te werken met beroepsacteurs en niet-acteurs zijn we verheugd om ons een tweede keer met haar aan een artistiek avontuur te wagen. Deze keer in de krochten van het ondergrondse Brussel, onder het Centraal station met de ‘Brüsel’-metafoor van striptekenaars Schuiten/Peeters als artistiek uitgangspunt. Haar nieuwste productie is een verdere stap in haar onderzoek naar een eigen theatertaal en de ontwikkeling van een eigen methodiek en dramaturgie waarvan de essentie is “op locatie werken, met mensen die geen podiumervaring hebben - maar er wel nieuwsgierig naar zijn- in combinatie met professionele spelers”. Het wordt een muziektheaterproductie waarin de mythische stad Brüsel, die in het gelijknamige stripverhaal onder de stad Brussel ligt, tot leven komt. Brüsel wordt een kuuroord voor magische ziektes met als centrale gedachte: «Hou me nog zo lang mogelijk in leven» . De gidsen in deze metaforische stad zijn de ‘greeters’, een aantal jongeren uit de Heemschool, een school voor motorisch en verstandelijk gehandicapten in Neder over Heembeek. Ragna Aurich studeerde aan de Toneelacademie in Maastricht en de Academie in Den Haag. Ze acteerde o.a. in ‘Good Habits’ (Manah De Pauw & Marijs Boulogne, 2006), ‘Tourniquet (Abbatoir Fermé, 2008) en maakte ‘Spoken om te spelen’ bij Scheldapen met kinderen (2009), ‘We will be younger’ (2010) van Recyclart/Théâtre National met hoogbejaarden en ‘Collapsus’ (2011, met Kurt Vandendriesche) in het Fort te Antwerpen.
