Ze begon met jungle, dancehall en dub maar zwermde al gauw uit naar cumbia, bhangra, azonto, baile funk, garage, soca, uk funky, kuduru, dembow, afrobeats, gemixt met donkere beats van breakcore, dubstep, grime, juke, booty bass, jersey club, trap en vogue beats. Ze stichtte Surya Dub in San Francisco (‘Best Ambassador of Dread Bass 2011’) en is actief lid van het Dutty Artz collectief in New York. Als prof. Ze documenteert sinds 2012 over Patagonië en de levensstijl die er dreigt te verdwijnen. Dit jaar is ze in Ierland beginnen te werken. De fotoportretten van[ **Beata Szparagowska** ](http://www.beataszparagowska.com)‘Studio Matonge’ od ‘Hide & Seek’ (2011) bevragen beeld, esthetiek en documentair karakter.
