De beurt is nu aan Azië met een sterke Chinese aanwezigheid, maar ook met pareltjes uit het land van de rijzende zon, de lachende budha en glinsterende rijstvelden. Achter het tipje van de sluier schuilt o.a. de Japanse fotograaf **Aichi Hirano** die een fotoproject opzette over de recente aardbevingen van maart 2011 in Ishinomaki. Hij biedt een andere kijk op de ramp, niet door zijn lens, maar door de ogen van de bewoners van de stad in de vorm van de wegwerpcamera's die hij aan hen uitdeelde.
