[**Ash Périer**](http://WWW.INSTAGRAM.COM/ASH.PERIER) knipt een stuk van uw haar en houdt het bij. Haar afstaan is geen kleinigheid: haar slaat onze emoties op, onze consumptie, onze relatie met onszelf, de keuze om er afstand van te doen is een intentie die aandacht verdient. Bij elke verzamelde lok wordt de context gedocumenteerd: datum, plaats en de vraag wat op dit moment een belangrijk element in het leven van de geknipte persoon is. Het hele proces van ontmoeten-luisteren-verzamelen-archiveren vormt het Hair Journal project, een intieme benadering van de ander door lichamelijkheid en het delen van verhalen.
