Hij is afkomstig uit Kinshasa, maar woont al twintig jaar in België waar hij zijn tijd verdeelt tussen het leiden van een percussiegroep en het maken van meubels. Tussendoor gidst hij Belgische toeristen in Congo en vice versa en slaagt hij erin van straffe foto’s te maken.
