Coup dur et déménagement imposé. Mais ça ne se passera pas comme ça ! **THE REPLICA** est l'installation conçue et réalisée par Recyclart FABRIK (en un temps record) pour permettre aux expositions prévues dans la Vitrin 21 à la gare Chapelle de voir le jour, même et malgré notre éviction des lieux. Par respect pour le travail des artistes invités et par besoin de résistance poétique, THE REPLICA "transporte" l'espace de la galerie 21 hors-les-murs. Cet hors-les-murs trouve refuge, grâce et en collaboration avec Up4North et l'IABR dans le socle de la tour WTC 1 à Bruxelles, quartier Nord. THE REPLICA est un des "invités" de l'IABR au WTC. Après Wesley Meuris, [Johan Van Geluwe](http://www.johanvangeluwe.com/) sera deuxième artiste à inaugurer cette REPLICA. Son exposition "Art Recycling Terminal" sera donc visible pendant et ensemble avec l'IABR à Bruxelles ! ARTCHITECTURE Depuis les années septante, Johan Van Geluwe développe une oeuvre qui sort des carcans et catégories artistiques. Il crée et se réfère à des institutions fictives comme l’est The Museum of Museums. La combinaison de savoirs globaux et locaux traverse son travail comme une sorte de fil rouge. Il y mélange volontairement symboles culturels, kitsch, avant-garde, utopie et réalité. Face au pouvoir des institutions et la commercialisation de l’art, il propose un regard critique orienté vers la qualité et la responsabilité publique. L’artiste échappe aux conventions grâce aux recours qu’il explore constamment et avec une certaine ironie, dans les territoires frontaliers de l’art, tels que le sont l’architecture, l’histoire et la culture populaire. Ce foisonnement éclectique s’exprime sous forme de mediums très divers : installations, collections, diaporamas, graphiques et jeux de mots. Sa vision résulte en un univers très personnel qui aborde beaucoup de thèmes qui ne trouvent pourtant leur place nulle part ailleurs que dans The Musem of Museums.
