La chanteuse inuite canadienne est connue pour ses prestations intenses et très physiques, à l’atmosphère proche du rituel chamanique. Elle a notamment collaboré avec Björk et Mike Patton et son album A*nimism* a été récompensé, en 2014, du prestigieux prix canadien des Polaris Awards. Tagaq pratique le chant de gorge, qu'elle a appris en autodidacte, mais ses chansons vont bien au-delà de la musique inuite traditionnelle. Explorant les frontières, elle tisse des ponts aussi bien avec le jazz qu'avec le heavy metal” (Holland Festival). ‘Retribution’ est sorti fin 2016. Très activiste, sa voix défend la culture inuite, menacée par la globalisation et le réchauffement climatique. Elle sera sur la scène du Recyclart en compagnie d'un violoniste et d'un batteur.
