Pauline Caplet pénètre dans ce monde flottant qui n’a ni début ni fin, sans trucage, avec pudeur et respect, en prenant bien soin de rien déranger au passage. Entre absence et attente, ou le temps pourtant si familier, joue à effacer consciencieusement les derniers souvenirs si chères au coeur. Le visage devient familier, et l’image, elle, est là pour combler un manque, un vide. Un portrait de Suzanne (89), qui vit près de chez elle dans la chambre n°207 dont elle ne sort presque jamais.
