Les artistes invités relieront les domaines de l’art contemporain et de l’architecture avec en toile de fond le cœur historique intact de la ville et la question universelle de la ville et de son avenir, entre utopie et dystopie. Parmi ces artistes venus du monde entier, le canadien **[Nicolas Grenier](http://www.nicolasgrenier.com/),** artiste visuel dont les peintures et installations architecturales portent principalement sur les structures sociales et politiques, nous fera l’honneur de présenter le mercredi 21.04.2015 à Recyclart CONGRES un bref tour d'horizon de son travail récent, suivi par un aperçu du nouveau projet qu’il développera pour la Triennale de Bruges. Intitulé **Vertically Integrated Socialism**, ce projet consiste en un concept d'habitation qui intègre l'entière pyramide sociale dans un édifice unique : un modèle architectural basé sur la reconnaissance, plutôt que le déni, des contradictions sociales et économiques de la métropole néolibérale contemporaine. ***Nicolas Grenier*** *détient un baccalauréat de l’université Concordia, Canada (2004), et une maîtrise du California Institute of the Arts (2010). Il vit et travaille à Los Angeles et à Montréal, et son travail a été exposé régulièrement au Canada, aux États-Unis et en Europe.
