Dense, intense, diverse, mais aussi ennuyeusement plate, la ville est composée de millions de petits terrains privés qui ont créés ensemble la culture collective. Lentement mais sûrement, la méga-ville qu’elle est devenue présente une sorte de manifeste - encore timide – sur la beauté de la platitude et de l’égalité. Sa culture de l’horizontalité est devenue tellement envahissante que les différences généralement évidentes de classe et de pouvoir se brouillent au fur et à mesure. Cette conférence veut questionner ces aspects sur base du cas de **Nezahualcoyotl**, ville périphérique à présent rattrapée par la capitale. **Felix Madrazo** est un architecte formé à Mexico City et Rotterdam. Après avoir reçu son master du Berlage Institute, il a cofondé le collectif d’architectes Supersudaca. En 2007, il crée son propre bureau, IND (Inter National Design) avec son associé Arman Akdogan. Parallèlement, Felix donne cours à la TU DELFT/ The Why Factory et a été chef d’atelier au Strelka Institute, Moscou. Conférence en anglais.
