Nous partons ce mois-ci en direction de la capitale UK, qui est une place forte dans bien des secteurs, y compris dans celui de l’architecture. Notre “local guest” pour cette conférence est l’architecte MAT BARNES, de l’agence CAN ([**CRITICAL ARCHITECTURE NETWORK**](http://www.criticalarchitecturenetwork.com/)), qu’il y a créée en 2008. Originaire du Pays de Galles, Mat Barnes y a travaillé comme architecte avant de bouger à Londres en 2008 où il a lancé CAN, avec pour idée de proposer une manière différente d’appréhender l’architecture et son design. CAN s’inspire pour ce faire d’autres industries créatives et travaille régulièrement en collaboration avec des designers, graphistes, artistes, qui font partie alors de l’équipe de conception. Cette méthode et curiosité offrent à CAN des possibilities d’expérimentations inépuisables et offre des résultats parfois inattendus. CAN travaille de manière contextuelle sur des projets d’échelles variées et aime concevoir un programme comme une pièce à casser et à revisiter.
