La nouveauté, c'est que le groupe post punk rotterdamois Rats on Rafts les rejoint désormais sur scène. Vieux routiers et jeunes loups s'échangent leurs morceaux et accomplissent, comme le déclare Paul Thompson de Franz Ferdinand dans Pitchfork: “The best act I’ve ever seen at a festival”. Mais ça, nous le savions déjà. Ca s'entrechoque, ça se frotte et c'est parfois aux antipodes avant de se retrouver sur des rythmes trépidants et des guitares rageuses. Ou plutôt des instruments à vent ? Rats et De Kift, c'est une bombe énergétique qui déboule puis rebondit de manière totalement inattendue. A plus de dix live sur scène. Avec tantôt une profonde mélancolie, tantôt une pure jubilation. Mais toujours intense.
