Tant avec son groupe Klezmer Madness qu’avec sa formation plus influencée par le funk et le hip-hop Abraham Inc. (avec e.a. Fred Wesley et Socalled), il a sillonné la planète et laisse toujours derrière lui un public ardent. La formation wallonne Klezmic Zirkus est active depuis 2006 et délivre un mélange très accrocheur et énergique de klezmer, de jazz et de rock. Quand ses membres ont rencontré voici deux ans Krakauer lors d’un festival, l’idée d’une collaboration unique a germé. Cet automne, ils travaillent ensemble lors d’une résidence d’une semaine avant de faire quatre concerts exceptionnels en Belgique, dont l’apogée sera cette fête klezmer à Recyclart. A ne pas manquer donc !
