Elles témoignent de ce qui est devenu un phénomène urbain universel et une utilisation amusante quoique détournée de l’espace public. Leur grande créativité a interpellé Karel Verhoeven, qui a estimé qu’il y avait assez de belles raisons pour y consacrer un projet participatif. Nous faisons appel à vous à ce titre : merci d’envoyer vos photos prises (récentes ou d’archives) de telles constructions à . Il les publiera sur son site et elles feront partie dans un second temps du livre papier à venir. Ces photos seront également exposées dans le bar-resto de Recyclart. En outre, Karel Verhoeven créera dans notre Vitrine n° 21 une “Drive In Expo” Le projet “Anything Can B\_A Car” se situe sur la friction entre espace public vs espace privé, fonctionnalité vs créativité, phénomène vs unicité, sculpture vs temporalité,, espace urbain vs espace muséal” Karel Verhoeven a étudié la communication digitale et graphisme au AIT (Irlande) et l’histoire de l’art (podium et arts & media), à la RUGent ainsi qu’au KASK (Gand). Dans son travail, il explore les aspects urbains et architecturaux de contextes urbains donnés.
