In haar nieuwste werk ‘Insert memory here’ voeren tekst en beeld je mee doorheen een chaos van verloren herinneringen en emoties. In haar meest recentste werken, maakt **Nele Thorrez** gebruik van spanningen in de familiale context al dan niet veroorzaakt door een buitenstaande factor. Zo maakte ze *home* een video – installatie over haar thuis. ‘Home’ toont de liefde voor een plek die vaak, door het beroep van haar ouders, gezien wordt als iets vreemds. Met gebruik van een digitale camera obscura creëerde ze een poëtische video, die de liefde naar die plek toe benadrukt. Vanaf 22 May tot 4 June zal Nele werk tonen in exhibition #20: met Kelly Schacht in de Brakke Grond te Amsterdam. Dit in het kader van the Apprentice/Master project van Kunstpodium T Tilburg. \*\*\* **Ana Lucia Negri** We live lives in our own imagery. Things and sentiments exist as long as we have seen them, thought them. They live inside us in a projected (dark) space. Every time we close our eyes, the projector starts operating. We see images all the time, for real or imagined? Where do these leave their traces? Ana Lucia Negri is a Peruvian photographer that is working with imaginary images that she construct out of reality as if she is putting our environment under a magnifying glass.
