Des corps atypiques avec visages souvent masqués posent d’un air humoristiquement scabreux dans une scénographie théâtrale baroque mais chaque fois soignée méticuleusement (pensez à l’univers de Witkin). La dimension humoristique prend toujours le dessus sur le caractère choquant. Alan Tex se spécialise dans les extrémités de la fantaisie humaine avec des images qui sont un anachronisme agréable dans cette réalité, dépourvue d’imagination.
